249

This morning I was having trouble coming up with a post. I have a number of thoughts, as I always seem to, but none of them strike me as particularly funny. I wonder if I need to just give myself a break for a bit. Post are becoming more forced and less spontaneous lately. I don't want that. It might have something to do with the number of posts I’ve written. I had no idea I was anywhere near 250 till this morning. As of this post I’ll have pumped out more than 249 posts in 11 months. Most of those being around 500 words or more a piece. I’m having trouble staying fresh. I feel like any new idea that I have is a topic I've already written about. I know that it isn't true, and there are always news ideas. I just need to find them.

I suppose I'm just having a little trouble getting inspired. I though that over the weekend I would definitely have a post for today, but the three idea I had are all dull. I’ve done lots of stuff over the last 11 months and had a lot of fun doing it. None of this is your problem, besides the fact that you came here today to find something amusing and got a cold shower of boredom instead. I just wanted to say, don’t give up on me. I’ll keep coasting along again till I get the old engine going. I want to continue with the blog for a long time, I will promise to try and unclog my think.

If you want to help please, drop me a line, and let me know what you like or dislike for that matter.

I currently feel your pain. Think of it this way. This too shall pass and you will be back to your old self. Besides, I'm sure you're bored stuff is better than a lot of people's good stuff. Maybe you should you have a weekly or monthly rant on something that you just can't stand like Macs or veggie burgers or something

I can understand but am glad you are not giving up - I love coming to the blog. I especially like Thursdays and the poem days - those always entertain me. I am with JCrew - even when you think something is boring, it is probably better than what most people write. Keep posting - - -I count on it each day - no pressure or anything - oh and how about some new pics on DOHB - - - I am sure you have to have new pics by now - a Christmas, birthday, etc. :):)

Blogger's block. I know it well. Though I've found even that can be turned into a half-way decent post. Don't sweat it, five posts a week is too much to ask of anybody.

And wow - 249 posts - impressive!

It's been a long time since I came last time... I've been rather busy lately.
Blogger's block can be really frustrating, but don't worry; it's impossible to impress everyone all the time.
My advice: I have a blog too (I now you have been there, but it's only in Spanish, sorry), and whenever I feel like writting but don't have anything to say, I just visit some other blogs and eventually a good idea comes up.

PS:I really love Conversation Fridays. So Dahl-like.

You could write about the invention of cigarettes. I'm sure it would be enlightening.

Personally, I miss the embarassing stories. They make me feel better about all the stupid things *I* do over the course of a day.

I like the lazy day posts, the most crazy embarassing stories, and almost everything you write. It keeps me entertained and I enjoy coming and checking out what your latest thought is.

Hey, everyone thanks for the advice, and help! I think I'm going to make it...

As for the embarassing posts...I'm finding them harder to type up and admit to. Maybe I'll start those up again someday though.

JCrew - Thanks for the idea for Tuesday's Post!
